Presentation - The Lantosque Via Ferrata.
The Lantosque via ferrata is located in a Vésubie Valley village of the same name. This via ferrata is beautiful and perfect to avoid the summer season heat. Indeed, the Lantosque via ferrata overhangs the canyon depth where the Vésubie river flows.
That's why we always are in the shade with temperatures far cooler than the those on the village square.
About challenge, the via ferrata of Lantosque is a very varied course with cross climbing parts and vertical climbing parts on ladders. There is also a long Himalayan footbridge and a long zip line. For sure, you will enjoy a good half day in this nice and relatively uncrowded course.
Schedule of the day
The encounter with the guide takes place in the village of Lantosque in the Alpes Maritimes. Afterwards, it will be time to take our tickets at the entrance of the via ferrata (included in the price). The activity will start from above the canyon by crossing the Vesubie river. After a change of bank via a bridge we will climb verticaly this time. Then, a choice has to be made : either choosing the long footbridge or the zip line. Both will conclude this activity of Lantosque via ferrata. Indeed, you will be arrived to the centre of the village.
Difficulty : Medium
The via ferrata of Lantosque is suitable for everyone , including children (12 years old minimum). It is necessary to be in good health, to have a good physical condition and to be able to climb for 2 hours. Obviously, you should not go in a via ferrata activity if you suffer from vertigo or have a height phobia.

From Nice, take the N202 road until you get to "Plan du Var", then turn right towards "Saint Martin de Vésubie, la route de la Vésubie". Follow this road until Lantosque. Cross the town centre of Lantosque. At the exit of the village you will see many spots to park on the left and on the right side of the road. Your guide will wait you there.
