Gours du Ray canyon
The Gours du Ray canyon is a half day activity, with a variety of jumps, waterslides and abseils that do not go over 10 meters. The ‘Gours du Ray’ canyon fits to beginners as the jumps are not mandatory. Those who come for more spectacular obstacles will enjoy the canyon and the many 10 meters or so high jumps it offers. The canyon’s landscapes are unexpected, and will let you mind-blown. Over there, the rock-pools have a unique shape!
Regulations : The ‘Gours canyon’ canyon is regulated by a decree. Thus it is solely authorized from the 1st of April until the 2nd week-end of September.
Planning of the day.
The meeting takes place directly there, and if all goes well, you should meet your instructor. After the distribution of the equipment, you will walk down a Provencal dirt road that will bring you to a water stream. Once the canyon finished, it will be time to get back to the vehicles.
Difficulty: easy
Canyoneering in the ‘Gours du Ray’ should fit to everyone. The only condition is to be able to hold 2 hours of activity.
Where is the Gours du Ray canyon located?
Le ‘Gours du Ray’ canyon is located in the town of ‘Gréolières’ in the Maritime Alps (06). The GPS coordinates are the following:

Getting to Gréolières town in the 06. Take regional road D79 direction Andon. Park at the parking just before the roundabout that crosses “Bouisse”.
